So what if Jewish folks started randomly saying Happy Hanukkah to their Christian neighbors or co workers each year. Would they say, '"Happy Hanukkah" back? or "Thank you"? What if you were the head of a multicultural organization that employed Chinese, African, Middle Eastern people? Do you think good leadership would be to acknowledge cultural diversity, to acknowledge their religious identity? Not cancel Christmas but acknowledge they celebrate the miracle of God differently? And until we have giant red dragons running down the streets in a huge light parade, new years is cancelled.
