So what if Jewish folks started randomly saying Happy Hanukkah to their Christian neighbors or co workers each year. Would they say, '"Happy Hanukkah" back? or "Thank you"? What if you were the head of a multicultural organization that employed Chinese, African, Middle Eastern people? Do you think good leadership would be to acknowledge cultural diversity, to acknowledge their religious identity? Not cancel Christmas but acknowledge they celebrate the miracle of God differently? What kind of snowflake thinks that "happy holidays" is trying to cancel Christmas? It's the first amendment folks, the first, before the second. Read it. And until we have giant red dragons running down the streets in a huge light parade, new years is cancelled.
